According to the article on [[Homosexuality]], it is a "sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person or persons of one's own sex." Following this definition, it wouldn't really matter what some people say in the quotes in this article. Homosexuality, as in sexual desire towards individuals of the same sex, has been observed and exists among animals. In view of this ''fact'', why is the article called "Homosexality in animals myth"? I quite agree with Crucialwood. Homosexuality (broadly defined to include "homosexual behavior") clearly exists in animals; that is beyond serious dispute, and the article should not have "myth" in the title. Incidentally, I seem to recall that this issue originally arose because of claims that homosexuality was "unnatural." By demonstrating that homosexual behavior did exist in nature, people intended to show that homosexuality was in fact natural, at least in the sense of "appearing in nature." That said, I agree with the article's position that this issue is largely irrelevant to discussions of the morality of homosexuality; many things are "natural" in this sense (including infanticide) but not moral. I think this whole article could be deleted, or perhaps reduced to a few sentences in the [[Homosexuality]] article, but obviously I do not want to take such action without further discussion.
