One of the earliest pieces of evidence for the Trinity occurs in the original Hebrew language version of the Torah. In many places in the Torah, God is referred to as Elohim, which is a plural form of Eloah. Elohim is actually a plural unit, such as a bushel or pack, etc, which supports the idea of the Trinity.
