:::::Sorry to butt in, but I'm wondering how relativity is at all linked to modern electronics.  From my (admittedly limited) knowledge, quantum mechanics fundamentally underpins modern electronics (CPU design has to account for quantum tunneling, etc.), but the precepts of relativity are totally irrelevant at the microscopic scale.
