Just a few suggestions

One more quick thing, looking back at Luke 9:3, rather than resorting to such terse paraphrase, what about the following: "And he said to them, Take nothing on your travels--not walking sticks, wallets, bread, or money--not even two coats!"--[[User:Caspianrex|Cory Howell]] 15:53, 21 October 2009 (EDT)

Just one more, and then I'm done for the moment.  Actually, two more little things.  First, in Luke 9:4, the rendering "if anyone invites you into their house" is not good for two reasons: "anyone" is singular and doesn't agree grammatically with "their house," and there is nothing in the Greek text about being invited in.  A more literal, and simpler, reading would be "whatever house you enter..."  Also, for this whole chapter, it may be a good idea to consider not translating the Greek particle και every time the King James has "and" at the beginning of a sentence.  (Luke 9: 2-6)  It makes for better English to reduce some of those occurrences of "and," and it's a minor thing, as far as the original language is concerned.  The modern reader can easily find the endless repetition offputting.--[[User:Caspianrex|Cory Howell]] 16:02, 21 October 2009 (EDT)
