Chinese culture does not date to 1700BCE. Hell, even the idea of "China" wasn't present yet. The idea of a "China" started around 5th century BCE with the Mandate of Heaven and approx. 3rd century BCE with the conquering of the kingdoms in northern/central China by the Qin kingdom. And Chinese culture "as we know it" doesn't mean anything, since a good chunk of Chinese culture you see today are from the Manchus of the 16th century Qing Dynasty.

I'd like to state that this page has many many glaring inaccuarcies and utterly incorrect facts.
I'd like to ask why there is a reference to Christianity in every other sentence....whatever.
Anyways, here are just a small portion of the things that require changing:
Changed the following:
followers censor school prayer and promote evolution ---> Anti religious is not the same as censoring prayer/promoting evolution. Hell, there's no such thing as "anti-religious" - there are people who don't have religions. And evolution has nothing to do with any particular religion either. Most people who believe in evolution do have a religion.
threat of death if conversion to another religion ---> Not necessarily true. only true in extreme cases. Changed it to: |Includes Sunni, Shite, etc
"Afterward, in 322 B.C., Chandragupta Mauryan defeated the Greek general Seleucus, who ruled a large part of East Asia which Alexander the Great had conquered." ---> Alexander didn't conquer any part of East Asia. He conquered Western Asia and some of central Asia.
"The Indian number system developed, which was later misnamed the "Arabic numerals." ---> It was called Arabic numerals because Arabs brought it to Europe, and Europeans thought they had invented it.
Changed the bit about Christianity as well. ---> Changed to: |Includes Protestantism, Catholicism, Orthodox, etc
Changed "mostly in Israel and the United States". There are about a 300,000 in Canada and 600,000+ in Europe.
Changed "the official religion of Japan, key in World War II" - there is no official religion in Japan. They follow a mish-mash of religions.
Deleted "There is no Hinduism in China." --> Uh...no duh?
"China has always been isolated by geographic protections." --> What are geographic "protections"?
Changed "There is very little ethnic diversity in China" ---> This is utterly wrong, mainly because there are FIFTY SIX (56) ethnic groups totaling 160,000,000+ (more than half the US population). (ie. 30,000,000+ Muslim ethnic groups)
Changed "And even that small number is due to courageous efforts in the face of much persecution of religion by the communist government that rules China." ---> Wrong. Christianity has been in China since the 11th century, and it being a minority has little to do with the communist government that took over 50 years ago. Nowadays, Christianity is treated in the same way as any other religion in communist China.
