'''Claude Lévi-Strauss''' (1908 - 2009) was a [[French]] linguist, literary critic, and Anthropologist. In [[Philosophy]] he was one of the central figures in Structuralism. In 1934 Francophile Julio de Mesquita Filho invited anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss and [[Fernand Braudel]] to help establish one university in [[Brazil]].
