::I know that in my experience, when dealing with reading comprehension, I always look at the questions first to get all of the key ideas out of the given text.  After answering all of the questions adequately, I read the text again.  That way, I get all of the essential information out of the text&mdash;say to pass a test&mdash;as well as the underlying ideals and theories.  --[[User:JLauttamus|Jeffrey W.
