In 2002, the creator of '''Spongebob Squarepants''', was found with very sexually perverted drawings involving Sandy, a squirrel, and Spongebob himself. Show ratings plummeted and remained low for several months. Although many conservative parents barred their children from watching the show, the liberals in fact enjoyed the drawings, calling them "art". Ratings eventually went back up.
