The '''London Borough of Hounslow''' is an administrative division of [[Greater London]], located in the western part of the capital. The administrative and main retail centre is [[Hounslow]]; other districts include Brentford, [[Chiswick]], Feltham, Hanworth, Heston and Isleworth. It is largely suburban, with light industrial areas along the [[Great West Road]] and in the west of the borough, which borders [[London Heathrow Airport]]. The borough was formed in 1965 by the amalgamation of the Municipal Borough of Brentford and Chiswick, the Municipal Borough of Heston and Isleworth, and Feltham Urban District.
