Was the shooting at Virginia Tech Bush's fault? Absolutely not! Bush ahd nothing to do with it! He was off doing something presidential and then he receives word that there was a shooting. He did nothing to to cause the attack. If this is Bush's fault, then other things that were out of his control wer his fault, like the crucifiction of Jesus. Because Bush didn't act, then Jesus died. That sure makes sense doesn't it! Also, another side note. Bush did nothing wrong during the Katrina incident if you want to get right down to the constitution. He should not be the one to blame. It is not the president's responsibility to send aid to victims of this nature. It is the responsibility of the governor of the state to take action to aid the victims. If any body should be blamed, it's the governor. Bush picked up the slack of the governor who dropped the ball, and now he gets ridiculed for it. Also I would like to point out that a similar storm hit texas and wiped out an entire city. NOw I don't want to sound racist, so here are the plain and simple facts. You can look it up if you want. The people in texas were all white. Did you notice how you never heard about it? It's because they picked themselves up and fixed the town themselves. There was no FEMA there to help. They helped themselves. The hurricane destroyed the entire city. There was more damage done to texas than was done to new orleans. What happened in new orleans? the black people laid down to die, or let FEMA help them by giving them money. I don't want to be racist, because there are certainly white people who are this way and were in the same boat as the black people, but the majority of the FEMA aid went to black people who waited for the government to come to the rescue so they could just sit back and lazily wait for help. They usually made no effort to get out of harms way. Anyone--white, black, or pink with purple polka dots--who doesn't even make an effort to get out of harms way and who just sit around waiting for the super hero government to come along, don't deserve the help they get. This, of course, does not count for those who are unable to evacuate due to a legitimate disability. Only then do you have the right to wait for someone else to help you. But if you are to lazy to even get your ass out of the way of a hurricane, then you deserve everything you get. mattfelton
