But for the Bible reader, for the one who knows the whole story, "word" probably is personal as His name is called "the Word of God". Probably! The current translation of "ὥρα" is "hour", but I feel that the context suggests that it should be "time" or "moment" in order to obtain greater precision. An hour has no significance here; the speaker wants to know if the illness was cured at the moment Jesus said it was.
