The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a strong supporter of BSA, and Mormon boys are highly encouraged to participate in scouting<ref>http://www.ldsbsa.org/</ref>. Unfortunately, many dens are led and dominated by LDS members who infuse Mormon beliefs, rituals and proselytizing into scouting activities<ref>http://www.watchman.org/lds/boyscout.htm</ref>. Christian parents usually pull their sons out of these dens, and unfortunately sometimes scouting all together. This has also led to 'segregation' of dens in many communities, with LDS-chartered dens catering to Mormons (and unsuspecting Christians) and dens for non-Mormon Christian boys<ref>http://mormoncurtain.com/topic_boyscouts.html</ref>.
