The '''Rugby League Challenge Cup''' is the oldest professional rugby football competition of any code. It was started in 1895 by the Northern Rugby Football Union which would later become [[Rugby league]] football. The Challenge Cup was modeled on soccer's [[FA Cup]] in that any team can compete in it but it is normally won by a professional side. The Challenge Cup final is traditionally played at [[Wembley Stadium]] in [[London]].
