The Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine is a non-profit research institute that studies biochemistry, diagnostic medicine, nutrition, preventive medicine and the molecular biology of aging. The institute is founded and headed by [[Art Robinson]], a noted [[conservative]] [[Christian]] scientist. The institute is funded by donations and grants from private charities. There are only six faculty members. Most work is done by volunteers. [[The Oregon Petition]] is one of many works done by the institute.
