|The words translated as 'blasting' and 'mildew' in KJV are fairly obscure. The 'blasting' word probably means hot east winds from the desert, which desiccate crops. The 'mildew' word probably refers to plants rotting. I've inserted 'upon your crops' which is obvious in the context of the original Hebrew but not to modern readers. The verse refers to Deut 28:22.
