:::I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Lǎozi, with a 3rd (low) tone on Lao and a neutral tone on Zi. It would only be Láozǐ (i.e. 2nd [rising] tone on Lao) if Zi were pronounced with a 3rd tone rather than a neutral tone. I'm 99% sure about this but I'm happy to be corrected by a Chinese speaker (I speak a moderate amount of Chinese but it's rusty). [[User:JosephMac|JosephMac]] 18:59, 29 December 2009 (EST)
