On February 6, 2010, while speaking at the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, cameras caught several words scribbled on Palin's left palm. The words were 'Energy, Budget cuts (with Budget crossed out), Tax, and Lift American Spirits.' It is not apparent the purpose of the scribbled words, but she did glance at her left palm while speaking.
