::Unless discussions like that are angry, insulting, or downright full of lies, I think it's probably better to keep them on, to avoid having to have the same conversation over and over.  When another liberal/evolutionist/relativist/whatever-the-case-is comes to argue the same point, you can just point them to the previous discussions.
