'''Final Fantasy IV''', (originally released in [[United States|America]] as Final Fantasy II in order to keep continuity) ([[ESRB]] rating: T) is a [[roleplaying game]] and part of the Final Fantasy series, it was published in 1991 by [[Square (company)|Square]]. The game is about the adventures and journeys of the Dark Knight Cecil and his friends. This is the first game in the series to use the Active-Turn Battle system (ATB) where each character's turn is determined independently by a gauge. The game features a wide range of characters in relation to others in the series. The game contains sexuality, [[occult]] themes, transvestism and other suggestive material. Additionally, due to Nintendo of America's policies, content referring to [[Christianity]] was left out of the original American version, even though other things (such as [[Hindu]] deities) were left alone. Nintendo of America had a very strong anti-Christian policy from the [[NES]] up to the [[Nintendo 64]]. The game has been ported to the [[Play Station]] and [[Game Boy Advance]].
