I've never heard of libertarians doing or supporting this. You might be confusing libertarianism with Objectivism - Ayn Rand supported forcing her atheist and anti-charity values on society, and many of her successors have taken neoconservative causes such as supporting the Patriot Act and the Iraq War. However, some paleolibertarians (like the anarcho-capitalist Hans Hermann-Hoppe) call for implementation of religious/conservative values via a Jim-Crow-style private-property discrimination, where non-conservative people would be forced into secrecy.
