I appreciate the liberal desire to find some comparable conservative examples, but any additions must be '''comparable''' in significance to the existing ones, and not simply a "tit for tat."  There is no reason to expect perfect symmetry by liberals and conservatives with respect to deceit.--[[User:Aschlafly|Andy Schlafly]] 20:10, 27 December 2009 (EST)

**"Christianity and Judaism teach that deceit is morally wrong[2], but public schools do not."  The trouble I have with this quote is that there is no citation for the latter half "but public schools do not."  This is not something you can just say.  It is like saying "Liberals care about the goings on of poor people [cited], but conservatives do not."  I'm sure there are those who can come up with a compelling argument for why conservatives do not, similar to these compelling arguments on why public schools do not, but a debate on whether public schools teach whether lying is wrong is not enough to have this quote written as fact.  Without a citation I think it should be deleted.  Also, I went to public school, and I am sure that I was told by many a teacher that lying and deceiving was wrong and bad.  I just don't see the evidence.  You may say that public schools don't teach christian morality, but that is something different altogether.
