All atheists? I personally am an agnostic if anything, but i have no problem with people praying in a classroom, no objection to religious schools. My point is that teachers shouldn't sanction one faith over another except in religious schools where the parents have chosen a religious education for their children. In a normal school, even if all of the pupils want to pray, the parents havn't chosen a religious education for their children and the teacher shouldn't join in. If an atheist objects to other pupils praying, they should be ignored, but i can't think of any atheists i know who would try and disturb someone elses voluntary prayer, they aren't a monolithic block holding the same views any more than christians are.
