Teddy Roosevelt used no Bible. Several Presidents kissed a Bible but did not swear on one.'' I pulled this one up, he's got links attached to it and it seems to be fairly legit. Frankly, I don't quite get the important of swearing in on a Bible in the first place, seeing as you're working for 1/20th of the human population.
