I'm totally aware that I'm overstepping my bounds here, but I really felt like I had to speak up. I'd just like to say first off that I don't really know anything about this user, nor am I able to guess his intentions. However, I saw that he was banned after making just two contributions and was accused of deleting citations and then asking for them. However, the two citations he deleted were either no longer in existence or mentioned nothing about the fact they were referenced for. As far as I could tell, his edits were nothing more than an attempt to make the site more encyclopedic. I'm just a bit worried that, out of haste, you may have unnecessarily blocked this user, which I have seen happen multiple times on sites like this is the past.
