::::: William, the tactics used by liberals are not used by conservatives whatsoever. They censor school prayer, we don't censor the teaching of Evolution. Also, we don't require students to write that God exists on tests like they do with Evolution or Global Warming. [[User:Dford|Dford]] 12:12, 30 May 2010 (EDT)

Surely the answer to this question is self-evident. Conservative is a relative term as is liberal. To put it simply, conservatives exist because liberals do. If everyone had exactly the same views on all issues then there would be no need for a word to describe them. Although as the usage here implies, they are now used as set terms to describe a set of views, it must be remembered that there is a spectrum of political views. As such the word conservative is best used as a relative term, as is the case with liberal. [[User:RobertWDP|RobertWDP]] 12:59, 27 February 2009 (EST)

I agree with you that most liberals are liberals due to some sort of social pressure, whether it be a liberal family, being surrounded by [[liberal bias]] in the classroom and mainstream media or believing the demonisation of conservatives because they are afraid to think otherwise.
