The term was originally applied to supporters of individual liberties and equal rights, but, in America, the term has come to represent a movement of social change that often conflicts with [[conservative]] values such as lack of moral values and tradition.But realy most of our founding fathers and even Abe Lincoln the founding father would be characterized today as liberals , so what exactly are conservatives conservating ? Maybe the confederacy...just a sugestion.
