== life vest, algorithm and I am sure others do not have the correct dates ==
I was spot checking the dates on words and found that man of the dates are wrong. For example this article states life vest is 1939 but OED states the following "1848 Daily News 20 May 1/2 Wilson's Patent Life coats and Waistcoats..*Life Vests, £1. 10s." also algorithm in the article states 1894 but oed states "1699 Phil. Trans. XXI. 263 The Algorithm or Numeral Figures now in use. " Should we change and also check all of the words to verify that the dates are correct?
