'''The Dark Knight''' is a 2008 [[superhero]] film, directed by Christopher Nolan as a sequel to his earlier film, ''Batman Begins''. [[Heath Ledger]] in his last completed performance portrayed [[Joker (comics)|the Joker]] as a dark, insane criminal. Ledger died during post Production and won a posthumous [[Academy Award]] for Best Supporting Actor. The film also won another Oscar for Best Achievment in Sound Editing and was nominated for another six academy awards. The film was rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and some menace. It is also considered to be one of the best conservative movies due to its message of not yielding to terrorists.
