An '''omnivore''' is a consumer that eats both [[plant]]s and other consumers.<ref>Wile, Dr. Jay L. ''Exploring Creation With General Science''. Anderson: Apologia Educational Ministries, Inc. 2000</ref> Because they eat a wide variety of foods, many omnivores, such as [[raccoon]]s or [[seagull]]s can live in diverse environments. [[Humans]] (excluding [[vegetarian]]s) are omnivorous, as is evident from their teeth and digestive tract.
