Alberto R. Gonzales (born August 4, 1955) is the 80th Attorney General of the United States, succeeding [[John Ashcroft]].

Alberto R. Gonzales (born August 4, 1955) is the 80th Attorney General of the United States, succeeding [[John Ashcroft]].  In 2007 he came under attack for sacking US attorneys across America.  However, these attacks came mostly from Communists and Socialists, and as of today, Gonzalez is a close friend and confidente of [[President Bush]].
