The '''help feature''' of most computer software provides users with context-sensitive instructions. For example, pressing the F1 key while a screen is visible provides instructions on how to fill out or configure that screen.
Microsoft had such help, but in recent versions of Windows and Office,<!-- specify when this change happened --> they changed the function of the Question Mark button. Now it just brings up generic help, and the user has to enter search terms to get information.
