Although many in America would like to claim victory in the War of 1812, the irrefutable fact is that Canada was invaded by a larger and more powerful country, and held it's ground. The Militia of Tennessee alone outnumbered the Canadian Forces at the time, but the Canadians won battle after battle. Claiming the War of 1812 to be a "Second American Revolution" is like claiming that Napoleon invading Prussia was a "Second French Revolution".
