Line 194: − #Progressivism: Liberal gatekeepers removing Obama, Hillary Clinton and Maxine Waters from lists of Progressives who have served in U. S. Congress
− − ::http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressivism
− − ::Last year, Obama, Hillary Clinton and Maxine waters were added to the list of notable current/former Congress members who were progressives. The original addition lasted a few months, then was removed without explanation. It was re-added a couple weeks ago, and liberal watchdogs started immediately removing. The issue was brought up issue on the Discussion page, where iron-clad quotes of Obama and Clinton describing themselves as progressives were included, as well as a reminder that Waters has been in the Progressive caucus since the 1990's. There is now an edit war with leftist editors desperately trying to keep those three names off the list. i suspect they are trying to hide from our next generation that Obama and Clinton are both progressives, now that progressivism has gotten so much bad press in the past couple years. --[[User:CenterRight|CenterRight]] 19:33, 31 December 2010 (EST)

::The issue seems to be because there is an descriptive article where liberal gatekeepers are responsible for "defining" what "radical right-wing" means, but not a matching one that has been successfully created for "radical left-wing", where Code Pink would likely fall. There is only a more tame "far-left" to use, which stops short of radical left-wing tactics. --[[User:CenterRight|CenterRight]] 19:33, 31 December 2010 (EST)
