|You must obey me and glorify me. If you don’t, I will send a curse to you. And since you have not taken seriously my glory, I have transformed into a curse all the benefits you get from your priesthood.

|Judah has been unfaithful to God and wicked actions are committed in Jerusalem and Israel. Judah has violated the holiness of the temple of the LORD, and Judah men have taken as wives women who worship false idols.

| The LORD is tired of listening to you, and still you ask: "What have we said for the LORD to bw tired of listening to us?" For you have said that He is pleased by those who act in evil ways. You don’t believe that the LORD is just!
