Overcombe is a small clifftop village in Dorset popular with summer tourists. Recently the remains of a Roman temple dedicated to the worship of the goddess Ilarus were found at nearby Jordan Hill. Local amenities include a combined post office/shop (catering to local people), a pub and the small twelfth century church of St Agnes.
