:He might be trying to add a bit of reason to MSNBC. Also, being a Republican does not require liking all other Republicans. The important fact is that he '''consistently''' votes Republican. There was a TEA discussion about Michigan Republican Rep. Fred Upton, before he became chair of the Energy and Commerce Committee. Since then, he has come out strong against Democrats on Cap-n-Trade, FCC net neutrality and votes for social conservative causes.
