The notions of [[extraterrestrial life]] and [[UFO|UFOlogy]] are fast growing [[pseudoscience|pseudoscientific]] [[religions]] perpetuated and/or aided by [[evolution|evolutionists]], [[atheism|atheists]], [[liberal]]s and other promoters of quackery.[http://creation.com/ufology-scientific-religion][http://www.conservapedia.com/Irreligion_and_superstition] However, the ideologies of [[UFO|UFOlogy]], [[extraterrestrial life]], [[exobiology]], [[evolution]] and [[Origin of Life|abiogenesis]] are anti-[[Bible|biblical]] ideas which are not supported by sound [[science]]. [[Liberal]] [[Carl Sagan]], an avid smoker of [[marijuana]] who claimed that marijuana gave him scientific insights, was a prominent peddler of extraterrestial life, evolution and other pseudoscientific nonsense.
No doubt pseudoscientific and superstitious thinking in many cases is partly due to a lack of [[Self-control|self-discipline]] as rigorous scientific and logical thinking requires disciplined thought.[http://archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/summary/102/6/855]
