'''Mean Girls''' is a [[movie]] about Cady, a [[homeschool]]ed teen raised in [[Africa]] by scientist [[parent]]s, who nearly loses herself in the social jungle of a American high school. The screenplay, inspired by [[Rosalind Wiseman]]'s ''Queen Bees and Wannabes'', was by Tina Fey, who plays Cady's math teacher. In Cady's school, social life is divided into various cliques, such as nerds, Asians, stoners, and jocks. A clique of three wealthy girls (whom others call the "Plastics") ask Cady to join them.
