The '''Nobel Peace Prize''' is one of the five [[Nobel Prize]]s; it is awarded in [[Norway]]. The other four, awarded in [[Sweden]], are in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine and Literature. Each laureate receives a gold medal, a diploma and a quantity of money.
The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by a committee of five persons who are chosen by the Norwegian Parliament. It has been awarded 91 times to 121 Nobel Laureates between 1901 and 2010. President [[Jimmy Carter]] was won the award in 2002 awarded, and [[Nelson Mandela]] the in 1993, together with Frederik Willem de Klerk.
