Regarding the copyright, "Getty Images represents and syndicates the entire LIFE Picture Collection" as stated in http://www.life.com/service/faq#q10 and Getty allows the use of their pictures as <i>"Editorial Licensed Material"</i> meaning <i>"Licensed Material relating to events that are newsworthy or of public interest.."</i> which is the case. The pictures were taken to illustrate an article about a public event at Wellesley University.
