Biblical fundamentalists, [[Biblical inerrancy|inerrantists]], ultra-orthodox Jews and [[Conservative Christianity|conservative]] [[Christians]] generally claim that the [[Bible]] is the infallible Word of [[God]], and therefore contains no contradictions. Critics generally reply that the Bible is full of contradictions, cannot consequently be the infallible Word of [[Yahweh|God]], and for this reason nowhere claims to be. The following article is designed to test both assertions directly against what the Bible itself says.
