However, the theory of continental drift has since been proven as false, being superseded by the theory of plate tectonics; showing the fickle and gullible nature of atheists in that they follow whatever the latest scientific evidence suggests is the best accepted theory. Of course biblical truth is constant and plate tectonics is a theory developed by secular liberals in order to promote the concept of an old Earth. | + | [[Continental drift]] was first proposed by a creationist in 1859 based on Genesis 1:9-10, which implies that all of dry land was in one place.<ref>http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-c001.html#1</ref> [[Atheists]] mocked the concept for about 100 years, until finally accepting its truth. |

| − | For most of the 20th century, scientists typically believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life, despite the lack of any reference to it in the [[Bible]]. After spending many billions of dollars looking for such life, and investigating countless reports of UFOs, no such life has been found. Of course, like God, just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's there. It may just be a case of not having looked long enough, especially since physics limits the time it would take to contact intelligent alien life. | + | For most of the 20th century, scientists typically believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life, despite the lack of any reference to it in the [[Bible]].
