:::: On the 5-year note, Bachmann has only been a Congresswoman for 4 1/2 years. President Bush (Snr.) was President for 4 years. Sarah Palin was Governor for 2 1/2 years. So length of time isn't the only thing that indicates whether something is a real career. Also, how is raising foster children classed as a career? Of course it is impactful, and substantial. However, I can't think of a case where doing something that doesn't earn money would be classed as a career. (I am NOT saying what she has done is worthless, just questioning whether it falls within the definition of career, because to have a career, you firstly have to be employed.) - [[User:JamesCA|JamesCA]] 07:50, 24 August 2011 (EDT)
