The beginning seemed to be the first Olympic Games in 776 B.C. It continued to thrive for hundreds of years until 146 when the Roman Empire destroyed it.

My favorite Aesop’s Fable would have to be the story of the “Tortoise and the Hare”. It is a very enjoyable story and is a great lesson not only to kids, but to the whole world, illustrating how if keep up a steady pace, we will ultimately succeed.

Plato was an ancient Greek philosopher who believed that reason was more important than experience, and that the world was comprised of simply ideas. This was the exact opposite belief as his student, Aristotle, who believed that experience was what you needed to gain knowledge.
