:::::::::::Yes, but sadly most of them apply to Young Earth Creationism :-S However the classic example is the dark matter/dark energy issue; scientists believe in the theory of relativity (correctly, in my view, but the principle holds,) therefore it is necessary for dark matter and dark energy to exist in order that the observed universe is following relativistic rules, therefore dark matter and dark energy exist even though we don't know what they are and can't detect them. I believe (and I'm not a physicist, so it IS a belief and I'm not betting anything on it) that something with the required attributes of DM and DE exists, but there could also be another explanation and I'm open to that, too. --[[User:SamCoulter|SamCoulter]] 12:58, 15 September 2011 (EDT)
