'''Antoine Silverman''' is a contemporary, versatile violinist. He performs regularly in many musical styles, including [[Bluegrass music|bluegrass]], [[jazz]], Broadway fiddling, and performance as an orchestral musician. He is the author of at least two music books, namely ''Fiddle Tunes: Basic and Beyond'', and ''Step One: Play Violin''. Being the son of a renowned folk guitarist and singer, Antoine was encouraged to take up the [[violin]] at age three. By the time he was five, he discovered bluegrass as well. During his early years, he accompanied his father in performances in many contests throughout the eastern United States. He is actively involved with eight performances per week, and writing music.
