::I think it was just a commentary on martyrdom.  The hallucination was just a hallucination, and I didn't see it as an allegorical statement (as in "religion is an illusion).  I saw it as a touching, moving example of a man's commitment to good.  Of course, I can't pretend to know a Catholic perspective better than a Catholic. --[[User:CamilleT|CamilleT]] 02:40, 21 September 2011 (EDT)

According to http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html, only 33% of the worlds population identifies as Christian, so surely the percentage must be more than 67%? Unless we are talking US only here, in which case it could be lower (but I doubt it). --[[User:MaxB|MaxB]] 12:23, 21 September 2011 (EDT)
