I see. Thanks for clarifying
Line 9: Line 9:
::::::::The "Good socialism" etc designations are section titles in the book. O'Rourke visited and examined four countries - two capitalist, two socialist. He basically ranked them as: USA, Sweden, Cuba, Albania and came to the conclusion that capitalism is the superior system. He was HL Mencken Research Fellow at the Cato Institute, he's a registered Republican and NRA member and he's definitely conservative. Please let's not start judging books we haven't read, eh? --[[User:SamCoulter|SamCoulter]] 00:51, 22 September 2011 (EDT)

:::::::::Thanks DrDean. I'd get quite annoyed if anyone started calling PJ a liberal (although in Europe that's exactly what he'd be, ironically enough.) --[[User:SamCoulter|SamCoulter]] 00:53, 22 September 2011 (EDT)

::::::::::Personally, I have trouble believing that a conservative book accurately representing the situations in countries' governments will consider a socialist government "good socialism." History and now Obama have proved time and again that it's a terrible system and I can only see a liberal book ever referring to such a government as "good."
