That is absolutely correct. Did the church not sentence and condemn various heretic astronomers in the 1500 for trying to convince other people that the world is ROUND? And that it revolves around the SUN? Personally, I feel that if the church did not believe in those theories, then there is no reason to trust in them now. I mean, look around you!
