I find HumanGeographer's arguments for Japanese being a conservative language rather convincing and would be interested in hearing your arguments for why you think that's debatable. :Japanese has many Conservative features, but the one inescapable truth is that Christianity is almost non-existant there. There are many more Christian Japanese that speak English living outside Japan than there are Christian Japanese who live in Japan.
